Tupac Shakur’s family is reportedly looking into a possible connection between Tupac’s murder and Sean “Diddy” Combs.

As we all know Diddy is facing lawsuits and federal charges for sexual assault, rape, and human trafficking. A three-count indictment claims he kidnapped and trafficked women to satisfy his sexual desires. Now, attorney Alex Spiro, who recently represented Alec Baldwin in an involuntary manslaughter case, has told Court TV that he has been hired to look into the music mogul and any possible links to Tupac’s murder.

Tupac Shakur was shot and killed in 1996 while driving in Las Vegas, and his murder case went unsolved until Duane “Keffe D” Davis was arrested and charged in 2023. Although Davis is the only person charged, he has claimed that Combs was involved in planning the murder. A detective who spoke to the grand jury that indicted Davis said that Marion “Suge” Knight Jr., who was also hurt in the shooting, reportedly told others that Combs was “responsible, if not directly, then indirectly” for his friend Tupac’s murder.

With Combs now facing serious charges, other rappers have also accused him of being involved not just in Tupac Shakur’s murder but also in the killing of Christopher Wallace, better known as “The Notorious B.I.G.,” who was shot and killed just months after Tupac. In his new song “Fuel,” rapper Eminem mentions this connection, saying, “Notorious B.I.G.’s death was a result of Tupac’s murder… Until Puff is in handcuffs, guilty, will he step up?”

Eminem had previously accused Combs of being involved in Tupac’s murder in his 2018 song “Killshot,” where he said, “The day you put out a hit is the day Diddy admits he had Tupac killed.”

Combs has always denied being involved in Tupac’s murder. A spokesperson for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department stated that Combs has “never been considered a suspect” in the investigation.
