The senior advisor reportedly listed Tuesday as her last day in the White House, a day before the riots at the Capitol. Within the past few weeks, Hicks allegedly did not agree with President Trump’s claims of voter fraud and planned to leave after he lost the election to Joe Biden. This is the second time she left the White House amid an issue within Trump’s presidency.

In 2018, Hicks left her position after the scandal involving former senior aide Robert Porter who was accused of physically abusing his two ex-wives while he and Hicks were dating at the time. Hicks helped with his public defense when the accusations were made. Prior to working for Trump, Hicks worked as the chief communications officer at Fox Corporation.

She also worked as his first campaign press secretary before she was assigned as the White House Communications Director after he took office in 2016.

Hicks has yet to release a statement regarding her departure from the White House and Trump’s second impeachement.
