Trump Threatens To End ‘Hostile’ & ‘Waste Of Time’ Coronavirus Briefings
While NPR, CNN, MSNBC and more made decisions not to air Trump and his coronavirus briefings, it looks like the presidents is done with news outlets too as he threatens to end the “hostile” and “waste of time” conferences.
In early April, news outlets began pulling back coverage of the briefings over misinformation given by the president and his administration. Now, Trump is claiming reporters attending these conferences are asking too many “hostile questions.”

And while he admits that the briefings get “record ratings,” they are no longer “worth the time.” In a series of tweets, Trump made this comments, and adds, “What is the purpose of having White House News Conferences when the Lamestream Media asks nothing but hostile questions, & then refuses to report the truth or facts accurately. They get record ratings, & the American people get nothing but Fake News. Not worth the time & effort.”
Furthermore, Trump’s latest rant about fake media arrives after his controversial statement about injecting disinfectants into people in order to fight the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

Was just informed that the Fake News from the Thursday White House Press Conference had me speaking & asking questions of Dr. Deborah Birx. Wrong, I was speaking to our Laboratory expert, not Deborah, about sunlight etc. & the CoronaVirus. The Lamestream Media is corrupt & sick!
