President Donald Trump has called for a national ban of Goodyear Tires after it was rumored that the company informed employees they could wear “Black Lives Matter” clothing but not MAGA hats.

According to the Daily Mail, Trump made the following announcement earlier today on Twitter after discovering the company’s clothing policy. He tweeted, ‘Don’t buy GOODYEAR TIRES. They announced a BAN ON MAGA HATS. Get better tires for far less! (This is what the Radical Left Democrats do. Two can play the same game, and we have to start playing it now!).’

The company’s ban on political clothing has sent their stock plummeting down in several states.

An employee posted a screenshot from a company training session where it explained what was acceptable and what wasn’t acceptable in the workplace. The slide explained clothing with the phrases ‘Black Lives Matter’ and LBGT Pride (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) was acceptable. Phrases such as ‘All Lives Matter’, MAGA, or ‘Blue Lives Matter’ are prohibited.
Goodyear also released the following statement to confirm the president’s claims and said they were not affiliated with the viral image but said they want their company to be “an inclusive, respectful, workplace.”
‘Yesterday Goodyear became the focus of a conversation that created some misconceptions about our policies and our company. For those not aware, a widely circulated image sparked a strong reaction, and we wanted to take the opportunity to provide some important context to the visual and our policies,’ and asked employees not to engage in any political campaigning in the workplace.
