Tristan Thompson’s brother is setting the record straight!
As previously mentioned, the NBA star’s younger brother Dishawn Thompson recently posted an IG Story where many assumed he was throwing shade at the Kardashian family. In the post, it appeared that he accused them of using his mother Andrea Thompson’s death “for a storyline.” The 28-year-old wrote, “Death for a storyline?” He added, “Don’t believe everything you see or hear on social media 95% is a lie.”
His post came just hours after the famous family aired their season finale of Season 3 of The Kardashians on Hulu where they talked about Miss Andrea’s sudden passing.
On Thursday’s episode, Kim Kardashian explains, “Tristan found out that his mom had had a heart attack. It shook up his entire world. So of course we drop everything and we go to Toronto. It’s not even a question, I’ll be there.
During the show, Khloe Kardashian also revealed that Tristan and his brother Amari are living with her. “Tristan’s roof caved in on his home and caused flooding,” Khloé, 39, said during the finale. “So Tristan and [his youngest brother] Amari are staying at my house now until his home gets fixed.” Despite their Rocky relationship, Khloe went on to say, “I’m grateful that I’m strong enough and brave enough to be a support system for someone else that has no other support system right now.”
Of course, fans instantly thought Dishawn was trying to imply that the Kardashians were using the tragic moment to help attract more viewers to the show. However, he’s letting everyone know that they got it all wrong. In fact, in a new post, he clarifies that he’s actually very supportive of the family. “Y’all chill out that wasn’t towards Khloe or her family, Khloe has been a real one toward myself and my bros from day 1, I wouldn’t try to bash a female down ever and especially on social media,” he said. Dishawn added, “Please don’t speak for me #BigCoach.”
