Tristan Thompson Demands Default Judgment In Suit Against Model Who Claimed He Fathered Her Child
As we previously reported, Tristan Thompson sued a woman named Kimberly Alexander for libel and slander after she publicly claimed that the NBA star fathered her son. While venting on social media, Alexander labeled him a “deadbeat dad” for allegedly failing to provide for the little boy since he was born.
Now, Thompson did admit to having a brief relationship with Alexander. He even said he’d already taken a DNA test that showed he wasn’t the father and offered to take another one in an accredited facility – but Alexander didn’t make any moves. Tristan and his girlfriend Khloé Kardashian denied Alexander’s claims and later sued her in May 2020.
According to an Exclusive report by BOSSIP, Thompson filed court papers last week asking for a default judgment against Alexander after she failed to respond to his defamation case against her. The news site notes that a judge has not yet ruled on his motion for default.
Meanwhile, in court papers obtained by BOSSIP, Thompson’s lawyer Marty Singer described Alexander as “wannabe social media influencer and pornographic model/performer who is so desperate to achieve her fifteen minutes of fame that she recently fabricated a false claim that NBA star/Cleveland Cavaliers center/power forward Thompson is the father of her nearly five-year-old son,” the news site quotes.
Thompson was suing for damages but did not specify a dollar amount in money.
