Looks like Trippie Redd took the time to issue a public apology to his ex-girlfriend Skye Morales for cheating on her.
“Just wanted to publicly apologize to Skye. Do not be mad at her, I cheated. She [may] not have had the best attitude with me, but she was the most loyal partner [I’ve] ever had and I lost her,” the “Miss the Rage” rapper wrote in the now-deleted post. “I just want [you] guys to be better than me. So if [you] find someone that makes [you] feel special, think before [you] do [when] [you’re] mad. I will never forgive myself for this s**t ever.”
He added, “I’m sorry, Skye, I don’t even want you to forgive me. I just want [you] to know I understand, I feel it. I’m a f**king idiot, I promise [you] [none] of it was worth [what] I had. [What’s] done in the dark always comes to light and yea, I hate myself. F**k all the people that have been waiting for this to happen. I hate [you], not as much as I hate myself [though].”
As we know Trippie Redd began his musical career by releasing tracks on SoundCloud, which helped him gain attention and a following. In 2017, he released his debut mixtape titled “A Love Letter to You,” which included hits like “Love Scars” and “Poles1469” featuring Tekashi 6ix9ine.
He continued to gain popularity with subsequent projects, including “A Love Letter to You 2” and “A Love Letter to You 3.” Trippie Redd’s music often explores themes of love, pain, and emotional struggles, which resonated with a younger audience.
Some of his other notable projects include albums like “Life’s a Trip” (2018), “A Love Letter to You 4” (2019), and “Pegasus” (2020). His music has consistently charted on the Billboard 200 and he has collaborated with other prominent artists within the hip-hop and rap scene. Last Friday (Aug. 4), he dropped “Left 4 Dead.” Notably, Trippie also collaborated with Morales in June for “Took My Breath Away.”
The rapper was supposed to release ‘A Love Letter To You 5’ last month, but pushed the release date to August 4.
