Trina’s husband and “Love & Hip Hop: Miami” co-star, Benjamin Leon Kearse Jr., better known in the streets as Swurv, is making headlines for all the wrong reasons.
According to a police report obtained by TMZ, Swurv was arrested on March 20 in Miami—nearly two years after an altercation that reportedly left a man with a fractured nose.
The alleged incident stems from a confrontation that took place back in July 2023. Reportedly, a man was crossing the street when Kearse’s black Dodge Charger came to a hard stop at a stop sign, causing the man’s hand to hit the back of the car.
But that’s when things allegedly took a wild turn.
What Went Down in the Streets of Miami?
The alleged victim says Kearse instantly started yelling at him. But instead of letting the tension cool, the man tried to explain what happened. That’s when Kearse allegedly got aggressive, trailing the man to a nearby location before things escalated into a full-blown altercation.
According to the police report, Kearse reportedly threw several punches, ultimately fracturing the man’s nose. Surveillance footage from nearby cameras reportedly backs up the victim’s story, helping police piece together what really went down.
Authorities say they reviewed the video and confirmed the man’s version of events, which led to the eventual arrest.
Booking Details and Legal Consequences
After law enforcement interviewed Kearse, they proceeded to book him at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center in Miami. As of now, it’s unclear what the next legal steps will be, but the situation is definitely serious.
