Fans began to speculate if Trina was pregnant after her performance during the BET Awards.
During her performance with Trick Daddy at the award show fans on Twitter assumed she was pregnant. “Trina pregnant or just thick?” One twitter user questioned. After the rumor began to surface a few of fans defended her with another twitter user chiming in saying, “Y’all so used to seeing all the fake bodies prancing around that when a real one show up y’all wondering if a person is thick or pregnant naw that’s grown women weight! Trina forever the baddest!”
Well TMZ spoke with a rep for Trina and her rep shut down all the rumors. The news outlet reported that her rep stated, “She is not pregnant despite fans’ speculation following her performance at the BET Awards. Just like any other woman, her weight fluctuates. She is asking for fans to just move on from this.”

“Well, after three miscarriages, I would’ve had three kids. That was a lot for me. The first one was — I don’t think I really understood it too much. I was younger, younger. Then once I got older, then there was the next one I was like ‘okay, what does that mean? What does the miscarriage mean?’ Like I just didn’t really get it. Then, it just became a point like, third miscarriage. Okay.”
She also spoke about her mother passing away from cancer in 2019: Then, when my mom got sick, honestly, I just went into this phase of ‘I don’t even want to have a kid and my mom is not here.’ Like, how do I raise a kid without my mom? That’s not the happiest thing for me, honestly. Even to this day still I’m thinking, I have like, two years to have a kid maybe? I’ll give myself two years to have a kid.”
