Trick Daddy Breaks Down His Dating Philosophy on Baller Alert

Trick Daddy is truly something else!

The 51-year-old rapper-turned-reality-star recently stopped by The Baller Alert Show, and what came out of his mouth got the internet shook. In the episode, Trick Daddy explains why he can’t see himself dating women his age aka “old h**s” — and yes, he said it with his chest.

From his early days in Miami to his rise on Love & Hip Hop: Miami, Trick has always kept it 100 unfiltered, and unapologetically himself. But this time, fans are wondering if he went a little too far or if he’s just saying what some men are thinking but won’t admit.

He came in hot, saying:

“I tried dating woman my age… that’s the hardest sh*t in the world.”

Why? According to Trick, it’s because older women “stuck on their f—g ways” and that’s why they “can’t keep a man.”

Host BT tried to warn him, letting Trick know the “grown women” were definitely gonna come for him after that take — but Trick? He wasn’t fazed one bit. He doubled down:

“These old h*es need to lower their standards.”

“I Want a B***h I Could Raise”: Trick Daddy Gets Real About His Preferences

Well, he ain’t sugarcoating it. The man said loud and clear:

“I want a b***h I could raise… cause you can’t re-raise mobody. Somebody that appreciate me. Somebody I can learn them somethkng, show them how to work hard.”

Whew! Let that breathe.

In other words, Trick is more interested in molding someone young — someone who hasn’t already formed habits or standards that challenge his way of living. It’s a bold (and highly controversial) take, but again, this is Trick Daddy we’re talking about. He’s never played by the rules.

And he made it very clear: women his age? Not it. He said he can’t do those things with the women who are his age.

Now, for some folks, that hits as misogynistic. Others say he’s just being real about the dating struggles men face when trying to partner with someone who’s independent, successful, and not trying to be taught or “raised.”

Social Media Reacts: “Trick Wildin’ or Speaking Facts?”

As expected, Black Twitter had a field day with Trick’s statements. The quotes went viral across X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and TikTok. Some folks dragged him for filth, while others surprisingly agreed.

One user posted:

“Trick Daddy really said he wants to raise his girl. That’s not a girlfriend bro, that’s a daughter.”

Another wrote:

“He ain’t lying tho… some of y’all 50-year-old women mad picky and still single. Let’s talk about it.”

The comments section on Baller Alert was on fire — and the opinions were split. It sparked a much-needed convo about ageism, dating standards, and why Black men in particular often date younger women once they hit a certain tax bracket or age.

The Bigger Picture: Age, Power, and Preference in Black Dating Culture

Trick’s perspective raises questions:
— Is it wrong for a man to want someone impressionable?
— Are older women unfairly judged for having standards?
— Why are men like Trick so uncomfortable with women who challenge them?

Let’s be honest — we’ve heard similar thoughts from celebs like, Future and Boosie. So while Trick’s delivery might be reckless, the conversation is interesting to have.

And in true Trick Daddy fashion, he said what he said.

Whether you’re rolling your eyes or nodding in agreement, one thing’s for sure — Trick Daddy got folks talking.

What do y’all think? Is Trick speaking facts or wildin’ out?
