Trey Songz Off The Hook For Physical Altercation At Chiefs Game
Looks like Trey Songz has one less thing to worry about now that he’s officially off the hook for the Chiefs game altercation that led to arrest.
According to TMZ, the singer will not face criminal charges for his physical altercation with cops at an NFL playoff game back in January. The Prosecutor’s Office for Jackson County, MO tells the news site that they have decided to decline filing charges against the singer, citing insufficient evidence.
As it was previously reported, Trey was arrested at a Kansas City Chiefs home playoff game after going at it with an officer who tried to confront him for not wearing a mask. Trey was ultimately arrested for trespassing and resisting arrest — both misdemeanors — and for assaulting a police officer, a low-grade felony. However, at the time, his team claimed the officer had it out for him before the brawl.
Trey Songz has not yet reacted to this latest update. Until then, let us know your thoughts in the comment box below!
