Travis Scott’s Legal Team Fires Back At Astroworld Victims’ ‘Bogus Allegations’ Of Rapper’s New Safety Initiative Being A Publicity Stunt
As we reported earlier this week, Travis Scott‘s launched a new safety initiative called “Project HEAL,” which promotes safer events for youth. After his announcement, Astroworld victims’ loved ones called him out for running a publicity stunt; however, his legal team is firing back calling the claims “bogus allegations.”
Despite Travis’ new initiative and a $5 million donation for community-based initiatives in his home state of Texas; the rapper specifically caught the heaviest backlash by a man named Robert Hilliard, the lead lawyer for Treston Blount. Now, Blount’s son Ezra was the youngest victim at the fatal concert.
Speaking with Complex on Friday (Mar. 11), Travis’s legal spokesperson, Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, commented, “[Robert] Hilliard’s bogus allegations fly in the face of logic. Travis’ support of charitable causes has been ongoing for years to help underprivileged young people graduate without debt, explore creative fields, and overcome mental health challenges.”
