According to the latest updates, the rap star is trying to clear himself from these big lawsuits. TMZ reports that Travis doesn’t believe he should be tied to litigation when it comes to the tragedy that happened at the music fest so he’s reportedly asking a judge to drop him from one of the lawsuits against him.

He recently filed legal docs, obtained by TMZ, denying claims against him by a guy named Jessie Garcia, who alleged he was in the crowd at the festival. Trav’s asking that his suit be dismissed with prejudice specifically, as it pertains to himself, his company (Jack Enterprises), and his foundation/label (Cactus Jack), the news site notes. Travis is issuing a “general denial,” which allows one to submit one blanket response to all the allegations against them.

What that means is that he’s making clear that the deaths and injuries are not his responsibility. It was said that Travis is planning to issue a similar response for every civil suit against him.

He previously denied liability through public statements saying he was unaware of what was going on that night but now, Trav is making it official.
