After sharing her honest experience dating NFL player Travis Kelce and warning his potential new boo Taylor Swift, Maya Benberry is making it clear that she’s not a bitter ex.
As we previously reported, the reality star recently spoke with the Daily Mail and was asked to share details about her time with the athlete. Not only did she call him a serial cheater but she also said, “Taylor seems like such a fun girl with a beautiful spirit, so I wish her the best of luck, but I wouldn’t be a girls’ girl if I didn’t advise her to be smart!” she told the outlet Tuesday, adding, “I’m sure by now she has mastered the ability to see who is really there for her — and who is just using her.”
Aside from that, Benberry was caught liking a comment rating Swift a five out of 10. While it appeared to be a little shade, she’s now clearing everything up.
In a lengthy Instagram Post, Benberry explained,
I don’t hate Taylor nor am I bitter,” she wrote. “I got asked about my relationship & spoke on it because I can. It’s my life & I can speak on it or about it whenever I please.”
As for the little “like,” she said, “I don’t think that Taylor is a 5. The initial comment was someone complimenting me so I liked it without even paying attention just like I do every other comment on my page,” she explained. “But once I caught wind that it was shade. I deleted the comment entirely.”
She went on to call herself a “grown-ass woman” who stands by what she says. “I am not a coward & if I truly felt that way about her, I would stand on it, just like I am standing on my infidelity answer,” she said.
Before wrapping up her post, she added, “Taylor is basically a billionaire and a boss. There is no need to hate nor have I or will I,” she said. “Like I said in my interview. I wish her the best of luck & I mean that genuinely.” She concluded that l Kelce “wasn’t the man” for her but “could be” for Swift, adding again that “only time will tell.”
