Travis Barker’s ex Shanna Moakler has spoke about the Kardashian family in the past but now she’s publicly admitting she does not like the famous ladies… at all.
In an interview with Page Six, the model says that she has her own reasons why she’s not a fan of the family however, despite how she feels, her main concern is how Kourtney is good to her children.
“I have my own personal reasons for not liking the Kardashians, which I won’t get into, but as long as he’s happy [and] as long as they are good to my kids, that’s all I care about,” Shanna Moakler said to the outlet.
As we previously reported, Travis Barker and the former Miss USA winner were married for four years. They officially split in 2008. They share two children together: son Landon Barker, 19, and daughter Alabama Barker, 17.
Speaking more on her ex-Travis Barker and whether she’s fond of him. She explained, “I haven’t been with him for well over a decade,” she told the outlet, “But you know what — he’s not mine.” She added, “He’s not the person that I was with anymore. He’s a completely different human being, so I don’t even really know him as a man right now. I don’t even know if we would be compatible or even good for one another anymore because he’s not the person that he was on ‘Meet The Barkers.’”
Barker and Kourtney Kardashian got married in 2022 in Las Vegas. Following the news Moakler gave a statement to PEOPLE to congratulate the happy couple. She said at the time: “Congratulations to the happy couple,” says Moakler, 47. “I wish them the best that life has to offer on their journey together.” Kourt and Trav officially wed in a big Italy ceremony earlier this year.
Kourtney who has three kids of her own with ex-boyfriend Scott Disick, announced last month that she and Barker are expecting their first child together. The Kardashians star broke the news at a Blink-182 concert, in the cutest way. She held up a “Travis I’m Pregnant” sign that got the entire stadium’s attention. Her hubby even hopped off stage to give her a hug and a kiss upon seeing the sign.
Barker is already a father to three kids, daughter Alabama, 17, stepdaughter Atiana, 24, and son Landon, 19, with ex-wife Moakler, 48.
While it looked like Moakler has been trying to take the high road, in May 2021, Shanna claimed that Kourtney had “put a wedge” in her relationship with her kids, and said that her family was “broken” because of the Kardashians.
“My family’s broken because of this family, and now my kids are alienated from each other because of another sister in this family,” she told TMZ. She said at the time, “I don’t care about Travis and Kourtney in any capacity whatsoever,” she continued. “All I care about are my children — mending and healing my relationship with my children and moving forward. I don’t even think twice about them.”
Looks like her feelings towards the Kardashians didn’t change that much but at least she’s being a little cordial for the sake of their relationship with her kids.
