Looks like the phone call that Tory Lanez made to Megan Thee Stallion’s ex best friend Kelsey Nicole has surfaced the internet following Tory’s conviction.

The recording shown below is allegedly the audio that was played in court which reporters claim was one of the main reasons jurors gave the “Say It” singer a guilty verdict.

During the phone call Lanez doesn’t specify on what he’s apologizing for but he can be heard saying, “regardless I know she’ll never probably talk to me again, but I just want you to know bruh I was so f*ckin drunk I ain’t even know what the f*ck was going on. I’ll never do some sh*t like that. I was just so f*cking drunk I didn’t even understand what was going on. Regardless that’s not going to make anything right nor is that not going to make my actions right.”

“What happened, happened already I can’t take it back. I’m telling you I’m sorry we was just too drunk.” Tory says.

As we previously reported, Tory was found guilty on December 23rd  of three felony charges — including assaulting rapper Megan Thee Stallion with a firearm in 2020. Since the breaking news of the rapper being found guilty on all charges in the shooting case, both of the rappers’ lawyers have since spoken out, plus the rest of social media.

According to reporter Meghann Cuniff, dubbed by Twitter as Meghann Thee Reporter, Megan’s lawyer Alex Spiro was “thankful” for his and his client’s victory in court. Cuniff shared a text message on her Twitter, it read, “Meg’s attorney Alex Spiro: ‘The jury got it right. I am thankful there is justice for Meg.”

Later, Cuniff also shared a statement from Tory Lanez’s lawyer, George Mgdesyan. Cuniff reported that he said, “We are shocked by the verdict. There was not sufficient evidence to convict Mr. Peterson. We believe this case was not proven beyond a reasonable doubt. We will be exploring all options including an appeal.”

The Los Angeles District Attorney, George Gascón, also spoke out after the verdict was given.

He began, “I want to start by highlighting the bravery of Megan Pete. You showed incredible courage and vulnerability with your testimony despite repeated and grotesque attacks that you did not deserve. You faced unjust and despicable scrutiny that no woman should ever face and you have been an inspiration to others across LA County and the nation.”

Gascón continued, “Women, especially Black women, are afraid to report crimes like assault and sexual violence because they are too often not believed. This trial, for the second time this month, highlighted the numerous ways that our society must do better for women.”
