Looks like things might’ve got a little spicy in the courtroom today! According to reporter, Meghann Cuniff Tory Lanez allegedly called her “a googly eyed b*tch” after getting his motion for bail denied.

Cuniff revealed the information to her Twitter account on Thursday. “I didn’t hear it and I’m still working to see if transcript has it, but I’ve confirmed Tory Lanez chose to use his final courtroom moments to profanely insult me, calling me “a googly eyed bitch” as he looked at gallery. Conflicting reports on whether he named me. A fitting end,” she wrote.

If your not familiar with why Lanez could’ve said that then this is why. Back in July, Tory shared a message to his Instagram where he said Meghann Cuniff and her reports about his case have always been biased. “With all due respect…Please disregard anything Meghann Cuniff reports on Tory Lanez. Her objective, perspective/narrative has always been negative and extremely biased towards him … if there is an update on tory it will come from this page first. If it doesn’t come from this page it’s not real,” read the post, which was credited to “The Umbrella.”

Meghann Cuniff addressed the statement in a tweet, simply writing, “Wish he’d @’d me or at least spelled my name correctly 😭😭.”

Cuniff has covered legal affairs for outlets across the country, including the Los Angeles Daily Journal, the Spokesman-Review, and the Orange County Register. She currently publishes her work on Legal Affairs and Trials, a Substack page that includes reports on high-profile criminal cases, including Danny Masterson’s rape trial and Mark Ridley-Thomas’s corruption case.

It’s unclear what prompted the accusatory statement, as Lanez’s team failed to point out examples of Cuniff’s so-called “biased” reporting. In more recent news today, it seems like Tory will serve his 10 year sentence after the rapper attempted to be placed on bail while his lawyers work on his appeal, but that request was quickly denied.

were looking for Lanez to receive 13 years, but the judge sentenced the 31-year-old rapper to ten. While being sentenced today Tory Lanez shed light on this whole ordeal and shared a few words to the victim, Megan Thee Stallion. Lanez said in his statement that Meg is “someone I still care for dearly to this day, regardless of what she may think of me.” He also referred to Megan as his “friend.” He continued to write in his statement on how him and Megan first bonded. “We both lost our mothers. We would sit there and drink, and drink until we got numb. He also spoke about the shooting and said, “I said some very immature things that I shouldn’t have said. I revealed some secrets that I shouldn’t have revealed.”
