Tory Lanez Helps 100 Former Inmates Celebrate Fathers Day

Tory Lanez helped out 100 former inmates celebrate Father’s Day for the first time with their families since being released.

Tory and his Dream City Fund launched the program 100 Black Fathers with Van Jones and Cut50. The charitable cause is partnered with Amazon Music, Door Dash and criminal justice organization Dream Corps, and aims to give free dinners and presents to the dads and their families.

“Today on Father’s Day I am honoring #100BlackFathersand celebrating black fathers across the country who are victims of systematic racism and unjust prison systems. moving in silence for the day , but I will let y’all know more about this very soon,” he wrote on Instagram.

“I think right now this is the most important and just something that’s on my heart to do because I’m all for prison reform and a lot of things that are going on in our community,” he said in a video. “I wanted to give all those fathers something that they never had and this is from me to you.”

He also sent a letter to all the fathers out there,

“You’re with your family. You deserve to enjoy today! I’m grateful to be a very small part of it. I know as a Black father raising Black children in this world, things aren’t easy.”
