Tory Lanez Allegedly Shot Megan Thee Stallion, Who Was ‘Trying To Leave’ His SUV After Dispute
Page Six reports that Tory Lanez, real name Daystar Peterson, was the person who allegedly shot Megan Thee Stallion early Sunday morning. The incident reportedly occurred as she was “trying to leave” his SUV following a dispute.
A source told the publication on Thursday, “Tory fired the shots from within the vehicle while Megan was outside trying to leave. There is video and the police are investigating. This is a case of a man physically harming and abusing a woman.” While LAPD officials have yet to confirm the allegations and existence of said video submitted for investigation, they did state that any video would “not be released until the case goes to court in order to protect the integrity of the case.”

A law enforcement spokesperson adds, “The detectives are seeking information regarding the shooting involving Daystar Peterson, and the investigation is still ongoing. I’m not privilege to what the detectives have right now.” Furthermore, Lanez was arrested on Sunday morning and has since been released after posting bail at $35,000. He is scheduled to appear in court on October 13.
