A Toronto restaurant is receiving a lot of attention after it was mentioned in Kendrick Lamar’s diss track towards Drake.
In the song Kendrick named dropped a Chinese spot that is called “New Ho King” which is on Spadina Avenue in Toronto. “I be at New Ho King eatin’ fried rice with a dip sauce and a blammy,” he raps in the song. After the song was a released on Tuesday morning it didn’t take long for the restaurant to gain a lot of attention. Since the song, New Ho King has received a bunch of new five-star reviews on Google that are showing love to Kendrick Lamar.

A local news station in Toronto went down to the restaurant to speak with the owner about all the attention his store has been receiving and shared how thankful he is for all the recognition. Also people who do not live in the area did an interview with the City News outlet and explained that they drove to the restaurant just to taste the fried after Kendrick mentioned that’s what he eats when he goes there.
As we previously reported, Kendrick Lamar responded to Drake with a new diss track on Tuesday and shook the internet up. His new response comes after Drake’s “Push Ups” and “Taylor Made Freestyle.”
In the new song which is titled “Euphoria” Kendrick spit several bars aimed at Drake. If you remember, this rap beef began once again when Kendrick Lamar hopped on Future and Metro Boomin’s project and he was featured on the song “Like That” where he dissed Drake and J.Cole for calling themselves the Big3 in the industry. Throughout all of the bars on the song fans noticed that Kendrick Lamar accused Drake of sending a cease and desist letter for that song.
In the song, Kendrick can be heard rapping “Try cease and desist on the “Like That” record… H*e, what? You ain’t like that record? “Back To Back”, I like that record, I’ma get back to that for the record.”

Kendrick Lamar also spit more bars where he said: “You not a rap artist, you a scam artist with the hopes of being accepted / Tommy Hilfiger stood out, but Fubu had nеver been your collection,” he begins. “Know you a master manipulator, and habitual liar, too / But don’t tell no lie ’bout me, and I won’t tell truths ’bout you.”
In Drake’s diss track he alluded to Kendrick Lamar having a 4-year-old song that he’s been holding on, waiting for this moment. But it seems like this song might’ve been newly recorded because he addressed Drake using AI features on his latest diss song “Taylor Made” freestyle.
“Somebody had told that you got a ring, on God, I’m ready to double the wage / I rather do that than let a Canadian n—a make Pac turn in his grave.”
The track featured an AI-generated version of Tupac Shakur’s voice which his estate says is “a flagrant violation” of the law and a “blatant abuse” of his legacy, according to an exclusive report by @billboard. His estate sent Drake a cease and desist letter and threatened legal action if he didn’t remove the song, which he did.
