Tommie Lee is setting the record straight after fans accused her of being under the influence in a new viral video.

In case missed it, a clip had been circulating online showing Tommie doing Karokee at a spot in Los Angeles. While she looked like she was having fun, to others it came off as she had too much to drink with some thinking she took drugs. In an Instagram Story post reacting to the comments, Tommie said, “Y’all life so boring. if I showed the fun we have y’all really would think it’s drugs, off the simple fact y’all miserable.
..It’s just karaoke calm down.” In a direct message to the woman who recorded the clip, Tommie said, “Stop recording people who are not with you tryna make it news it’s corny…”

As for the woman who filmed it, she seemed to care less about the backlash for uploading it to Instagram. One person commented under user bar10dertee’s post and said, “You old, miserable and lame for posting this. That lady private area was exposed and all. It’s just morally not right but by the sounds you was making in the video “get her out of here” you a weird hater in real life.” While defending herself, the IG user replied, “She came outside naked, exposing herself, & you hear the crowd talking, not me.” In another response, the woman said, “Note: IDC if y’all ho3s mad, this “reality star” is on stage performing, with the homegirl…. In addition to Tommie Lee’s Instagram Story post, she also hopped on Live to talk about the hate train trend.

She said people “know her energy and they know my vibes and I think they’re getting a little bored. I think it’s just new kids. Like, hate trains is a new thing that they started and everybody is trying indulge… just to like make their voice be heard. It’s weird.”

“I could never spend my time or my days or my minutes… knowing you never know how many days you have on this earth…hating on somebody I don’t even know, never even met; never even seen.”

During her Love & Hip-Hop days, Tommie shared her troubles with alcohol. Although it was hard to admit that she had a problem, she eventually got her life together.

While exclusively speaking to Hello Beautiful in 2019, she revealed she is sober. She told the outlet at the time,

“I wouldn’t consider myself an alcoholic. I’ve gone to rehab. I’ve been 4 months sober now. She also admitted, “I probably started drinking more filming the show,” said Tommie. “Dealing with family issues with my mom. That caused a lot of my stressors. It’s been my way to cope for a minute,” she admitted.

Since being off the show, the star has tried her best to remain positive and in good spirits.
