Reality star Tommie Lee, born Atasha Chizaah Jefferson, has broken her silence to shut down the “false narratives” following her arrest during Miami’s FIFA World Cup game on Saturday (July 11).

According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office (MDSO), the former ‘Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta’ star was among six people arrested during the England vs. Norway match at Hard Rock Stadium.
MDSO said 60,024 fans attended the game and among the six arrested, deputies also reported 19 ejections from the stadium. Authorities said these were all isolated incidents and handled quickly. In Tommie Lee’s case, deputies arrested her on July 11 and released her on Sunday (July 12) after posting a $1,000 bond.
While citing alleged court documents, CBS News, reported that MDSO alleged Lee entered the stadium through an unauthorized entrance without a ticket.
Investigators alleged the TV personality walked through the southeast gate and made her way to the 100-level seating area before deputies detained her. Authorities arrested Lee on third-degree felony charge of interference with a sporting or entertainment event under Florida law. Deputies then transported her to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center for processing.

On Monday (July 13), Lee broke her silence on her viral arrest. She shared videos as she walked into the stadium. She said, “Thought the invited would be nice 🤷🏽♀️.” In a second video, she wrote, “Had [an] escort and all smh.” In a third video, showing her inside the stadium, she wrote, “Sad I spent my money and din’t even get to see the game all because of a cop’s EGO, sad.”
Then, in a fourth video, she wrote, “A[n] escort they gave me y’all should be tired for me. I can’t even stomach this false narrative they keep freely giving me. It’s sick and will be dealt with the proper way.” In a fifth and sixth Instagram Story post, Lee filmed herself in a jet car and wrote, “Anyway, errthang gucci bae… Back 2 minding the business that [pays] me. I wish you all the same 😘.”
Lee continued to slam people wanting her to address the elephant in the room. She said:
“Unfortunately and fortunately, it’s none of your business. My personal and private life is not news, it’s not a headline. You don’t get that because you don’t deserve that. I don’t know your little secret arrest. I don’t know your secret little child abuse cases, and sex a[ssault] cases, and what-have-you, and theft cases. So, I’m not different than you. The way you go tuck your tail and hide when you go in and out of jail, but nobody cares because you don’t have status, I want y’all to move like that with me, and my misfortunes.”
Lee continued to call out the “false narratives” and headlines going viral with her mugshot, along with the “Black networks who love to post [her] when something bad happens.”
