Brady also said he wasn’t surprised by the rumor and noted he was responsible for his own actions and words but cannot control others.
“Haha, it’s always a good line. ‘I’m responsible for what I say and do and not responsible for what others say or do,’ so. Again, one thing I’ve learned from sports is you can control what you can control and what you can’t, you leave to others. . We’re in such an era of information and people want to be in front of the news often and I totally understand that. I understand that’s the environment we’re in but I think for me, literally it’s day to day with me. I try to do the best I can every day, evaluate things as they come and try to make a great decision for me and my family.”
His father, Tom Brady Sr., and the Buccaneers said the star player didn’t make any decisions regarding his career change.
