Paul Chelimo the 2016 meter Olympic silver medallist tweeted, the beds are made of cardboard and are able to “withstand the weight of a single person to avoid situations beyond sports.”

According to givemesports.com 2016 bronze medallist Bianca Walden stated “We’ve all got paranoia around covid. It is just to make sure we are all being safe. Our masks are on all the time no matter what, everyone is doing every single safety precaution.”

The card-boarded beds have a maximum weight of 220kg, it is only made for the weight of one person. Sources say, the beds could possibly break if there are any sudden movements or excess weight.
