In a wild, almost unbelievable incident, a one-year-old toddler in Bihar, India, bit a cobra to death after the snake wrapped itself around his hands.
According to Yahoo! News, the child, identified as Govinda, was playing at his home in the small town of Bettiah when the cobra slithered toward him. Before anyone could intervene, the toddler reportedly chomped down on the venomous snake, killing it instantly.

Family Rushed Him To Hospital After The Attack
After the shocking incident, Govinda’s family quickly rushed him to a nearby medical center before transferring him to Government Medical College Hospital for further treatment.
Fortunately, doctors revealed that the cobra’s venom was relatively mild, which caused the boy to briefly lose consciousness, but did not prove fatal.
Family Shares Heart-Stopping Moment
The boy’s grandmother recalled the terrifying moment, saying:
“When we saw the snake in the child’s hand, everyone rushed towards him, but in the meantime, he already bit the snake, killing it on the spot.”
Dr. Kumar, who is overseeing the case, told local news outlets that the boy is currently stable and under medical supervision.
