‘Today Show‘ Hosts Spark Heated Debate After Discussing How Often One Should Wash Their Clothes
In the opening of the viral clipped segment from the show, host Al Roker posed the question, “How often do you wear your clothes before washing them?”
Fellow host, Sheinelle Jones interjects and admits, “So like, do you wear jones multiple times? I say, ‘yes.’” The rest of the hosts, Craig Melvin and Dylan Dreyer, end up agreeing.
Melvin says, “Well, jeans are different.” Dreyer then adds, “Yeah, jeans you can wear a few times.” Jones adds, “Yeah, ‘cause otherwise, it’s a waste.”
Here’s where things get a little wild. Dreyer then jumps in and admits, “I’ll shower at night, so I’ll wear my pajamas like three nights before I switch into some new ones.”
Melvin then shouts out in disbelief, “Three nights?!” Roker then turns his head away from the conversation, with a sour look on his face, in what social media users are calling “disgust.” Melvin then tries to explain to his neighboring co-host about his outburst.
He says, “But after you take a shower you’re still rolling around in the jammies. That’s skin cells…” Roker jumps in, “The average person perspires a cup of sweat at night … but I also think it depends on how much you sweat.”
The hosts then continue to slam each other for their own personal hygiene practices and how their lives are so busy, they sometimes don’t even get to change out of their work clothes before falling asleep.
