T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach are reportedly not ashamed about their relationship a day after it was revealed that the “Good Morning America 3” anchors were having an affair.

The new couple appeared on GMA Thursday morning, as previously reported, appearing unconcerned despite the fact that their coworkers had apparently been shocked by the news the day before. They feel “supported and loved” by their coworkers, and some of them even prayed with them before the show aired, according to people close to the couple, Page Six reports. Since Tuesday, they had not seen one another. Although it’s not how they expected the news to break, it’s also somewhat relieving, a source told the media site.
In addition, they had been close friends for eight years before their romance began to grow in August while they dealt with marital problems. Holmes moved out of the house last year while he and his wife, Marilee Fiebig, were apparently having marital issues. Sources close to the pair said Holmes and Robach’s romance reportedly blossomed in March but they didn’t start dating each other until leaving their spouses in August. Around that time, Robach and Holmes were training for the New York City Marathon and a few months later, they were seen at multiple bars near the ABC News office.

Holmes allegedly moved out of the home permanently four months ago and the sources said Robach was one of the people he could rely on for support. His colleagues were unaware that he was heading for a divorce until the affair was exposed on Wendesday. Robach and her husband, Andrew Shue, were also going through their own marriage problems and ended their marraige six months ago.
Rumors of Robach and Holmes’ romantic endeavors started in 2017 after the pair became very close friends and allegedly hooked up at industry events. They were afraid to be around each other due to the rumors and didn’t hang out after
“A lot of people believed there might have been some truth to it, because you can see there’s a mutual affection there. But everyone ultimately chalked it up to friendship because they always said they were both happily married.” a source told People after the rumors resurfaced in 2021.
However, the couple is upset that their children had to find out the news in this way but they’re not ashamed of their blossoming romance.

Since the relationship went viral online, Robach and Holmes deactivated their Instagram profiles. However, the pair didn’t release a statement to address the rumors about their relationship.
