Oh wow! Fans noticed Tinashe liked a tweet liked a recent tweet regarding her comments about Chris Brown and R. Kelly.
As we previously reported, during an interview on Zach Sang Show the singer was asked how she felt about her previous label trying to launch her career by making her do a song with R. Kelly and Chris Brown being that they both have had a history of trouble. Before answering the question Tinashe laughed the responded by saying, “You think I wanted [to do those songs]? I literally block out that R. Kelly song from my mind — I forget that it even exists,” she said. “That is so embarrassing. That is so unreal that I even have a song with R. Kelly.” She added, “I was so young too, which is crazy because I feel like I did that song when I just signed to that label… I was probably like 20.”
Sang then brought up how Tinashe received backlash from the public after doing a song with both of the artists and said fans perceived it as she willingly did it, but it was actually the label that made her get on those tracks. “Especially when it comes to singles,” Tinashe continued. “Like for example that song with with Chris, that was a song that… we all wanted it to be this big moment — this big single. So I feel like in [the label’s] mind, they were like ‘You need the support.’ And [Chris] was like their biggest artist that they had on rhythmic radio at the time.”
Chris brown caught wind of her comments then shared a few comments under No Jumper’s post which read: Commenting under the post, Brown said, “Name 5 Tinashe songs or die… Everybody dead.” Then he said, “She full of dat evil. Shawty career is nonexistent. What’s more embarrassing is that she worked with all these people and not one of us could save her career.”
Now a screenshot of Tinashe’s likes have been floating around on Twitter and the singer liked a tweet that read, “You already know we riding with you! I got a good feeling you rejected Chris and he’s still butthurt over it! That would explain his hostility and weird obsession with you lol.”
Chris Brown and his fans have been defending himself for years regarding his past troubles, but he still seems to get a ton of backlash from others and even some celebrities. But one musician recently stood up for Breezy and made a video basically saying “no Chris Brown hate will be tolerated.”
The post read: “N***az be secretly fans behind closed doors and listen to @ chrisbrownofficial music just as much as we do, but then go on a political hate campaign and take the position of bashing the n***a. Smh. These are the same people who advocates against bullying, and [want to be] treated fair, but then wanna sub bro and smear him in front of the world. I ain’t gonna watch it go down no more and not step in front of every bullet. Idgaf who you are or how many followers you weirdos got. We not doin that. Shout out to my bro for not losing his sanity at this point.”
