Tiger Woods Told Deputies He ‘Did Not Remember Driving Following Near-Fatal Crash, Investigation Launched

Tiger Woods reportedly told Los Angeles sheriff’s deputies that he had no memory of driving after his near-fatal crash.

As we reported Woods was unconscious and trapped after crashing his 2021 Genesis SUV in California.

Per reports by USA Today officials had to pry him out of the vehicle.

“The deputies asked him how the collision occurred,” an affidavit read. “Driver said he did not know and did not even remember driving…  Driver was treated for his injuries at the hospital and was asked there again how the collision occurred. He repeated that he did not know and did not remember driving.”

As we reported, Sheriff’s Deputy John Schloegl also told to USA Today that the department is investigating data from the car to determine if criminal charges should be processed.

“We’re trying to determine if a crime was committed,” Schloegl said, per USA Today. “If somebody is involved in a traffic collision, we’ve got to reconstruct the traffic collision, if there was any reckless driving, if somebody was on their cell phone or something like that. “We determine if there was a crime. If there was no crime, we close out the case, and it was a regular traffic collision.”

This contradicts Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva, who said it was “purely an accident.”
