Tiger Almost Rips Off Staffer’s Arm At Carole Baskin’s Big Cat Rescue

It looks like Carole Baskin can’t control her cats!

According to WESH, a volunteer working at Carole Baskin’s Big Cat Rescue in Tampa was severely bitten and injured by a tiger around 8:30 a.m. Thursday. Apparently, the woman’s arm was almost torn off.

The tiger reportedly attacked while the woman was reaching her arm into its cage during feeding time, which is against the rescue’s policy.

“It is against our protocols for anyone to stick any part of their body into a cage with a cat in it,” Big Cat Rescue wrote. “Kimba grabbed her arm and nearly tore it off at the shoulder. “Candy was still conscious and insisted that she did not want Kimba Tiger to come to any harm for this mistake,” Big Cat Rescue added in the statement. “He is being placed in quarantine for the next 30 days as a precaution, but was just acting normal due to the presence of food and the opportunity.”

We can only imagine what happened to Baskin’s missing husband, Don.
