Tiffany Haddish is focused on becoming a mother, according to a new report by Page Six. While co-hosting at Elton John’s annual AIDS Foundation Oscar party, the comedian allegedly told guests at the party that she wasn’t drinking because she’s “trying to get pregnant.”
A source who was at the party spoke with Page Six and said, “It didn’t feel like [she was joking]. She said it numerous times.” The news outlet spoke to a person who close to Tiffany Haddish says her comments were most “likely a joke,” but she has been focused on her health. “She is serious about her sobriety,” the source added. “She’s kept it, and is very into her health right now. She’s going through her changes and is doing amazing.”

As we previously reported, Haddish recently got arrested for a DUI back in November and vowed to get help following the incident. While speaking with Entertainment Tonight, the Girls Trip actress vowed that it “would never happen again.”
As we previously reported, Haddish was found asleep inside her vehicle. Haddish explained to ET that her Tesla parked itself when she dozed off but her car was blocking a portion of the street. “I’m going to get some help so I can learn balance and boundaries,” she added. Nevertheless, Haddish says despite what happened she is staying positive and she also spoke highly of the Beverly Hills police department on how they handled the situation.
That incident was marked as Haddish’s second DUI arrest, with the first occurring in January 2022. At that time, she was arrested in Atlanta after officers responded to a report of someone sleeping behind the wheel. Haddish faced charges of DUI and improper stopping on a roadway, eventually being released after posting a $1,666 bond. During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon later that month, she poked fun at the situation.
“I’ve been praying to God to send me a new man, a good man. God went ahead and sent me four in a uniform,” Haddish quipped. “I wasn’t expecting it. I was not expecting that at all. Now, I’ve got a really great lawyer, and we’re going to work it out. I’ve got to get my asking of things to God a little better.”
