Tiffany Haddish, the renowned comedian, has recently found herself in legal trouble after being charged with a misdemeanor DUI. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office has confirmed that she was officially charged with one count of driving under the influence of alcohol and another count of driving with a blood alcohol content (BAC) of .08 percent.
As we previously reported, this incident occurred three weeks after Haddish was arrested for falling asleep at the wheel while intoxicated. As we previously reported, the incident occurred following a night out in Beverly Hills last month, where she was found slumped, blocking the road with her car.
Following her arrest, Haddish’s case underwent review by the L.A. District Attorney’s Office, which ultimately decided to press charges against her.
To note, this incident marks Haddish’s second DUI arrest. Her first occurred in January 2022. At that time, she was arrested in Atlanta after officers responded to a report of someone sleeping behind the wheel. She faced charges of DUI and improper stopping on a roadway, eventually being released after posting a $1,666 bond.

Tiffany Haddish has since spoken out on this latest incident. During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon later that month, she actually poked fun at the situation.
“I’ve been praying to God to send me a new man, a good man. God went ahead and sent me four in a uniform,” Haddish quipped. “I wasn’t expecting it. I was not expecting that at all. Now, I’ve got a really great lawyer, and we’re going to work it out. I’ve got to get my asking of things to God a little better.”
However, given that the situation could’ve been worse, she later announced that she will seek help so she can “learn balance and boundaries” following her second DUI arrest in two years. The entertainer also pledged that “this will never happen again” during an exclusive interview with Entertainment Tonight.
