We’ve seen a lot of celebrity divorces turn nasty in the public eye. However, when it comes to Tia Mowry and Cory Hardrict, they know how to keep things peaceful and respectful.
According to an exclusive report by @TheBlast, the former couple have officially settled their divorce. The news site notes that the ‘Sister, Sister’ star hashed things out and will not pay anything for spousal support for Cory Hardrict or child support.
Both Mowry and Cory Hardrict also agreed on a simple settlement that will allow each of them to help support their children together on an ongoing basis, according to legal documents obtained by The Blast. It was noted that the duo agreed to split the costs when it comes to providing for their family. This includes private school tuition and fees for extracurricular activities — all of which would be split evenly as they agreed to share joint legal and physical custody of their two kids.

Although that is sorted out, Mowry, however, will get full ownership of the family’s Los Angeles home that’s worth $4.3 MILLION,
The Blast notes.
Further into their agreement, it specifically, states how they would properly introduce their “new partners” when the time comes. “Each party is restrained from introducing the minor children to a new romantic partner until the party has been in an exclusive relationship with the romantic partner for at least six months.”
It continues, “Each party is further restrained from permitting his or her new romantic partner from spending overnights with the minor children are with that custodial parent during the first six months of the exclusive relationship.”
While that sounds like a really good agreement, out of respect for each other and their kids, it also states that Tia and Cory are not allowed to speak “In a negative, disrespectful or derogatory manner to or about the other party in the children’s presence or within hearing distance of the minor children.” Family members and friends are also asked to comply with this order.
More On Their Split
As we previously reported, after 14 years of marriage, Mowry announced that they were separating back in October with a heartfelt Instagram post. ” she said at the time, “I have always been honest with my fans, and today is no different. I wanted to share that Cory and I have decided to go our separate ways,” she wrote alongside a black-and-white photo of the couple.
“These decisions are never easy, and not without sadness. We will maintain a friendship as we co-parent our beautiful children.” The actress continued, “I am grateful for all the happy times we had together and want to thank my friends, family and fans for your love and support as we start this new chapter moving forward in our lives.”
It was previously made clear that cheating was not a contributing factor to their split. Hardrict has publicly said that he still loves his ex wife and especially his family even despite their split.
