Tia Mowry, 45, is opening up about how she’s “ nervous and terrified” to jump back into the dating world.

Just three months after settling the terms of her divorce from Cory Hardrict, Mowry shared a new Instagram post saying, “Fun Fact: I’ve never been on the dating scene my entire life 😬 So when I tell you I’m nervous and terrified of doing this whole dating thing, I mean it 😭Even though I’m in my 40’s, I feel so inexperienced! And while it would be easy to just throw in the towel and avoid the potential for awkwardness and hurt, I know God’s got me! So if you’re feeling apprehensive about new experiences, just know you got this, and we’re in this together!”

As we previously reported, Tia Mowry and Cory Hardrict announced their split after 14 years of marriage in October 2022.

Now back in April we shared a story on how fans assumed Hardrict had already moved on and began dating, but the Homecoming actor shut those rumors down real quick.

While on Instagram live. he answered questions from fans and one asked about his relationship status and said, “Nah I don’t got no girlfriend I got my kids and work.” 💯

Hardrict went on to promote the second season of the new show that he’s stars in: “‘All American Homecoming’ is on Netflix right now! we got to get it trending y’all. Season 2, no commercials.”

Once the news about their breakup first hit the media. Mowry made a post saying, “I have always been honest with my fans, and today is no different. I wanted to share that Cory and I have decided to go our separate ways,” Mowry wrote. “These decisions are never easy, and not without sadness. We will maintain a friendship as we co-parent our beautiful children. I am grateful for all the happy times we had together and want to thank my friends, family, and fans for your love and support as we start this new chapter moving forward in our lives.”

Further speaking on the moment she knew their relationship was coming to an end, Mowry explained, “I knew when I really started to focus on my happiness,” she said Nov. 16 on TODAY with Hoda & Jenna. “I feel like women, we tend to focus on everybody else’s happiness, making sure that everybody else is OK — meaning our children, our friends, our family.”
