Three Milwaukee teens are behind bars after allegedly shooting a Dominos delivery driver to death. According to the criminal complaint, the incident reportedly occurred because the teenagers wanted to steal a pizza.
33-year-old Antoine Gee Jr, was a hardworking family man who enjoyed putting smiles on other people’s faces, according to his family members who spoke out about this tragic incident. “That’s the biggest smile. He don’t even like to smile, so for him to smile at you? Oh, you’re just one of a kind,” said Kashmer Toliver, Gee’s sister.

According to multiple reports and the criminal complaint, the shooting took place on January 10th when Armier McArthur, Keyshaun McNealy and Damain Patrick allegedly jumped the delivery driver. A witness also spoke to authorities and said that the three teens ordered a pizza from Dominos but had plans to “snatch it.” Sadly, surveillance video from that night shows Gee arriving at Sherman Boulevard and Congress Street at 10:00 p.m to deliver the teens their order but investigators say once Gee arrived two of teens started to fight him as another one stood nearby. As Gee was being jumped he was reportedly shot three times and died on the scene.
“All they had to do was just ask. He probably would have given him the pizza and paid for it himself,” Toliver said.
“You took away a good one for nothing,” said Jerome Avery Sr., Gee’s uncle. “When you took him, you didn’t just ruin his life, you ruined a community.”
Police arrested the three teens, who were each charged Friday with felony murder. If convicted, they could face up to 55 years in prison.
Gee’s family says he lived his life without any regrets. “He wanted to be a pilot, so he started that. He did fly a plane, had the biggest smile ever on the picture, and now, he’s flying high,” Toliver said.
