Three new cases of the UK COVID-19 strain has been found in New York.

According to The New York Post, Gov. Andrew Cuomo confirmed two cases in Saratoga Springs and a 64-year-old man in Massapequa, Long Island. Additionally, the positivity rate in New York has dropped from 7.7% to 6.5% and there were 188 deaths as of Friday.
“That brings the number of UK cases in this country to just about 55 and we believe that it is more widespread than that number would suggest,” Cuomo said.

Earlier today, Cuomo posted the number of vaccines administered in New York State which is currently at a total of 543, 147 doses.
