The Weeknd, Roddy Ricch & Megan Thee Stallion Lead 2020 AMA Nominations!

The nominations for the 2020 American Music Awards nominations are here!

Singer Dua Lipa appeared on “Good Morning America” this Monday to announce the nominees for this year’s award ceremony and The Weeknd, Roddy Ricch, and Megan Thee Stallion all came out on top with the most nominations.

The Weeknd, 30, and Roddy Ricch, 22, snagged eight nominations each, including Artist of the Year. Rap star Megan Thee Stallion, 25, made her AMA debut with five nominations.

Other stars who earned multiple nods include Bad Bunny, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, DaBaby, and Doja Cat. Meanwhile, stars like Billie Eilish, Cardi B, Bad Bunny, Post Malone, and more have also been nominated this year for the 2020 AMA Awards.

This year’s ceremony will feature several new categories, including new rap and hip-hop honors and several new awards for Latin music. It is expected to be held at Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater and air live on ABC on Nov. 22. Click here for full list of nominees.
