“The View” staff are officially banned from speaking to Meghan McCain as her new audiobook is set to launch very soon.

The show’s executive producer Brian Teta initially enforced the new policy as McCain has a new position as a columnist on The Daily Mail while launching her audiobook titled “Bad Republican.” According to Page Six, a source who works closely with Teta says many of the staggers are still in contact with McCain and compared his antics to a cult.
“We literally report into the news division. We’re being told not to talk to someone on the outside, who has different political views… who used to work with us,” they said to the outlet.

However, a spokesperson from the show said that the new policy is not true and their “main focus” is the newest season on the show.
“Our focus is on the exciting season ahead and we wish the best for Meghan in her next chapter,”
They added that McCain still uses the show’s stylist Fran Taylor and her mom, Cindy, was recently a co-host on the show.
