In the latest episode of REVOLT’s “The Jason Lee Show,” Remy Ma and Hitman Holla stop by the studio for another entertaining interview with HU Founder Jason Lee. It was only right that Remy would be featured as a guest considering that she hosted the launch party of “TJLS” ahead of its premiere back in January.

And there was plenty to discuss, from new music, her marriage to Papoose, eliminating toxic friendships while also speaking on her relationship with fellow rapper Cardi B. At the start of the interview, Lee praised Remy for supporting him with the launch of his show ahead of time, noting that she had plugged the REVOLT talk show without even being asked to do so.

When Lee noted that not every friend would have been this supportive by doing something for someone without having to request a favor from them, Remy interjected, “Then those people are not really your friends.”

In the teaser clip of Wednesday’s episode, which airs on YouTube’s REVOLT, the trio laugh about an incident where Lee said one of Remy’s security once laid out somebody he knew. The clip also shows a snippet of where Lee quizzed the “Thug Love” lyricist on why she doesn’t consider Doja to be a rapper.

Back in early 2022, Remy had made headlines for making the comment on an episode of “Drink Champs,” saying that while she gives Doja her props, she wouldn’t categorize her as an artist that raps.

“I don’t think she’s a rapper,” Remy commented at the time. “Let’s be clear with that. I don’t put her in the rapper category. I don’t think she’s a rapper but she makes dope records. I think she’s dope.” But trust and believe that Remy was going to set the record straihght during her chat with Lee.
