Reality TV OG Tiffany Pollard, famously known as New York the H.B.I.C., joins ‘The Jason Lee Show,’ where she gets into her iconic TV career, her sexuality, and new gay dating show, skin bleaching rumors, and the viral fight between Amber Rose and Joseline Hernandez.
While sitting with host Jason Lee, Tiffany also pays homage to the Queen of Media Wendy Williams, and talks about her own iconic career on TV, including series like ‘Flavor Of Love,’ ‘I Love New York,’ ‘Brunch With Tiffany,’ ‘House of Villains,’ ‘College Hill: Celebrity Edition,’ ‘Big Brother,’ and so much more!

Speaking on her iconic career in reality TV and how she’s been able to remain a household name for over 18 years, Pollard says that throughout the years she has simply stayed true to herself. She says she wakes up as herself for 42 years and that she’s very regular.
Despite being recognized as a Reality TV OG and trailblazer in this world of entertainment — especially as she redefined reality TV for Black women — Pollard also feels as though she gets the short end of the stick sometimes. She explains that when she was coming up, social media wasn’t as big as it is right now, and neither were the brand deals and checks, overall. She also claims that she doesn’t receive residuals from all those shows she appeared in and made MILLIONS for.

While on the topic of all of the reality shows she’s appeared on, host Jason Lee asks Tiffany Pollard about her time on Flavor Flav‘s 2006 VH1 show ‘Flavor Of Love.’ Pollard says she was definitely single before coming on the show and was NOT faking her love for Flav for the cameras. She says she really wanted to meet someone and fall in love, so she did. Together, Lee and Pollard then bring up Flav’s manhood, which is allegedly 12 inches long.
Moving on to Pollard’s time on BET’s ‘College Hill: Celebrity Edition,’ she and Lee recap the viral and toxic fight between her housemates/classmates, reality stars/rappers Amber Rose and Joseline Hernandez. The two women had a violent physical altercation that began after Hernandez, who is Puerto Rican and identifies as a Black woman, claimed Rose, who is Black and white and identifies as biracial, really just wants to be a white woman.
In her interview, Pollard recalls the incident in detail and says after the two women verbally fought, Rose got up from her seat as if she was going to cool off in the bathroom or hallway. Pollard says everyone thought she was just going to walk past Hernandez and exit the room, but instead, she attacked her and the two ended up brawling, throwing each other’s heads on nearby glass windows. The full fight never went to air, only the audio, to which Pollard claims production ended up destroying the footage.

Pollard also speaks about her time on E! Network’s ‘House of Villains,’ which she co-stars alongside Reality TV stars Omarosa Manigault Newman, Bobby Lytes, Tanisha Thomas, and more. During their conversation, Lee says he would FaceTime Omarosa while filming, but Pollard would always be locked away in her room. She doubles down and admits she likes to be by herself, and then continues to recap her time on the show, explaining how the process of being there was SO hard, and breaking down her issues with Omarosa.
As for what’s next for Tiffany Pollard and if we’ll see her on our screens soon again, host Jason Lee wonders if she would ever want to become a ‘Real Housewife.’ She respectfully declines and notes that she prefers and loves to be tucked away.
However, she is working on a new gay dating show, where she will double as the host and executive producer. The reality show, called ‘Looking For A Third,’ is a dating competition series that will air on LGBTQ+ network OUTtv. The network has already ordered eight episodes that will begin to premiere in late 2024 featuring one gay couple and one lesbian couple, who are each searching for a third partner to add to their relationship.
Speaking on her role in the show, which Pollard calls her baby, she explains that she has been pouring her whole heart into the show and taking her time with getting everything together to ensure everything is perfect. Pollard also reveals what she hopes to accomplish with the show, like wanting to erase the stigma around polyamorous relationships, which she notes is looked down upon now, but was once very common.

In addition to speaking on her illustrious career in Reality TV, Tiffany Pollard also opens up about her personal life and how she is currently engaged. Although Pollard doesn’t reveal his identity, the 42-year-old does admit that her fiancé is 58 and is all about her, even giving her the passwords to EVERYTHING. She explains how she knew he was the one and not for clout, adding that he only sees her and even told her if she didn’t want to ever work again, she wouldn’t need to.
As the interview is filming, Pollard’s fiancé also texts her from the green room and says he misses her, causing her to gush about how much he really loves her and cares about her. She even admits that he’s big on going to therapy, calling it a good thing, despite the Black community having a history of looking down upon it.
Pollard also opens up about whether or not she wants to have any kids. She admits that she doesn’t know if her body can take on pregnancy and childbirth, and she may even adopt. She says she’s considered wanting to adopt three children, noting they don’t even have to be related from birth.

While speaking about her sexual life, Tiffany Pollard also opens up about her sexuality and how she identifies. Host Jason Lee asks if she is Queer and she says she embraces who she is, which includes two sides that all of us have. She says some of us are like our mothers and others are of their fathers.
For her, sometimes she feels like a guy, other times a woman. She admits that sometime during middle school she began to realize that she definitely talks, moves, and thinks like a man at times. When asked if she has ever slept with a woman, Pollard shyly doesn’t deny it, but says she’s “seen it all and done it all, and is real good at it all.” Pollard also talks about not seeing color when it comes to dating and love. She says she loves without color, admitting she’s dated Black men, white men, Asian men, etc.

Pollard also opens up about her physical and mental health. She talks about Grief Wellness Camp and admits she was drinking a lot and eating fast food before going to the camp, which she’s been visiting for over a year. She also talks about suffering from a hernia, being borderline diabetic, having high blood pressure, and more. She also says she’s got a sprinkle of Bipolar Disorder, and brings up Kanye West, claiming he needs to be exorcised. She admits that she loves smoking cannabis and is still working on her health, feeling very blessed with her guardian angels surrounding her.
Addressing rumors of her bleaching her skin, Pollard says she was never hurt when fans accused her of doing so. She admits she used to be VERY dark-skinned when she was smoking cigarettes and not taking care of her health. She says when you put toxins in your body and don’t make healthy choices you’ll look different. The H.B.I.C. (“Head B*tch In Charge”:”) also admitted that a part of her growing and changing her life around includes her working on her spirituality. She now says H.B.I.C. stands for “Her Belief In Christ,” “Human’s Belief In Christ,” and “Hush Just Believe in Christ”).
