In the age of social media, one viral moment can have a lasting impact on a person’s reputation. This is especially true for individuals who find themselves in the spotlight unexpectedly. Tiffany Gomas knows a thing or two about that following her viral plane meltdown.

As we previously reported, Gomas gained national attention after a video showed her losing it in front of crew and passengers aboard a plane. In the viral video, she’s seen asking the flight crew to let her off the plane before takeoff. The moment that stuck with people is when she said, “I’m telling you, I’m getting the f— off and there’s a reason why I’m getting the f— off and everyone can either believe it or they cannot believe it.” Gomas went on to raise concerns about a mysterious person on the plane, stating, “that motherf—er back there is not real.” Many were confused about her outburst as they tried to decipher her fears and motives.

However, after recently speaking out and admitting that it wasn’t the best moment of her life, she’s now telling her new followers that she’s using this time to rebrand. “One moment doesn’t define you, but it can define your purpose,” Gomas wrote over new snaps. She also included the hashtags #SelfLove #Empowerment #Motivation and #StayTuned.

What Was Her Explanation For Her Breakdown?

After a bunch of speculation about the incident, she finally broke her silence and explained what was going through her mind. She said in a social media post,

“Hey everyone, it is Tiffany Gomas, probably better known as the crazy plane lady, which is completely warranted,” she says at the start of the video. “First and foremost I want to take full responsibility for my actions. They were completely unacceptable,” she said. “My use of profanity was completely unnecessary and I want to apologize to everyone on that plane, especially those who had children on board.”

Instead of being hard on herself, she said she’s been able to laugh at some of the crazy memes.

“We all have our bad moments, some far worse than others, and mine happened to be caught on camera for the whole world to see multiple times,” she said through tears. Despite all of that, Gomas did not go into details about what got her so upset.

However, according to an incident report from DFW Airport DPS, Gomas was allegedly arguing with a family, accusing them of stealing her air pods.
