Texas Widow Shames Donald Trump & Gov. Greg Abbott In Obituary For Husband’s ‘Needless’ COVID-19 Death
Texas widow Stacey Nagy shames President Donald Trump and Gov. Greg Abbott in the obituary for her husband David W. Nagy’s COVID-19 death, which she calls “needless.”In addition to the two officials, Nagy blames those who do not wear masks.
The 72-year-old woman wrote a six-paragraph tribute to her 79-year-old husband, who passed on July 22 and had a history of diabetes, heart problems and early signs of dementia. She writes, “Dave did everything he was supposed to do, but you did not. Shame on all of you, and may Karma find you all! We were married for 20 years and now I’m not with him. It’s just been devastating for me. It pisses me off because he didn’t need to die. Had people been following the recommendations, things would have been different. But people don’t.”

She continues, “Family members believe David’s death was needless. They blame his death and the deaths of all other innocent people, on Trump, Abbott and all of the other politicians who did not take this pandemic seriously and were more concerned with their popularity and votes than lives. Also to blame are the many ignorant, self-centered and selfish people who refused to follow the advice of the medical professionals, believing their ‘right’ not to wear a mask was more important than killing innocent people.”
Responding to how viral her obituary has gone, Nagy says of her husband, “If he saw the responses we’re getting for the obituary and my fighting for him, I think he would be pretty proud of me, I really do. I think he’s smiling right now because I’m fighting for him and all the other ‘hims.’“
