While being interviewed by FOX 7 Austin, Percy Payne was interrupted by his manager who accused him of violating company policy. After a heated argument, Percy made a bold decision to resign by handing over his uniform right then and there. Percy decided to speak to the news station because he possesses surveillance footage that allegedly captures him being attacked by two individuals at the parking garage under his watch.

He completes the interview wearing regular clothes instead of his uniform.
