A Houston man who was holding on to a month-long grudge decided to shoot his rival outside of a barbershop after the pair argued over who won a foot race.

Surveillance footage when the male suspect targeted his rival and fired multiple shots from behind a car near the Mean Kutz Barbershop on Saturday. Houston Police Department Assistant Chief Wendy Baimbridge said in a statement that the two men were arguing outside of the barbershop before the shooting over a foot race and the victim walked away mid-argument.
‘There were two males that were arguing outside the barbershop here over who ran a race faster. So at that point, one of the victims started walking away from the argument. The suspect then shot him twice in the shoulder.’

Police did not identify the shooter or the victims who were injured during the incident. One of the bystanders was shot in the rear end and the other in the arm. They were transported to nearby hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. After the shooting, the suspect fled the scene in a black Nissan Frontier.
