Tessica Brown is not playing about her money!

Although many people have been using the track just for fun and to show love, Tessica, and co. aren’t too amused because she had no part in making the track nor is she getting any dough from it, TMZ reports. So far, the “remix” has been taken off of some social media platforms including on TikTok, IG Reels, and even on streaming platforms like Apple Music and Spotify, which all seem to have been started by someone named Cocoa Brown, who posted the track.

The letter to Cocoa, obtained by TMZ,
reads, in part, “To the extent it becomes necessary, Tessica intends to seek the recovery of all penalties, statutory damages and punitive damages for such knowing infringement as applicable.”

Stars like Tia Mowry, Cardi B, Aniya Wayans — Damon Wayans Jr.’s daughter and more have posted the track or recited it online. But, it looks like everyone is just going to have to find a new viral catchy song as this one can’t be played anymore.
