Terrifying Video Records Moment Former College Football Player Is Shot At Liquor Store
A former Buffalo State college football player is in critical condition and fighting for his life after being shot at a liquor store on Monday.
Per TMZ, the NYPD report that a fight broke out between 20-year-old Malachi Capers and another man at 136 Deli & Grill, which is located in Queens.

The entire incident was caught on video and it apparently started after Capers accidentally brushed up against the man’s shoulder, which led to a confrontation and physical fight.
Police have identified the suspect as Jeffrey Thurston and the NYPD are looking for him.
Buffalo State head coach Christian Ozolins, meanwhile, released a statement in regards to the incident,
“Malachi was a well-liked member of our football family during his freshman year in 2018 and has remained a friend to many in our program as he has continued his education at Buffalo State after leaving the team due to on-going injury issues. We have him in our thoughts as we wish for a speedy and full recovery.”
