Tekashi 6ix9ine Track “GOOBA” Shatters Eminem’s YouTube Debut Record

As Tekashi 6ix9ine returns from a prison bid, his comeback is quite intriguing to watch. In addition to his 2 million-plus views on his first Instagram live back home, the rapper’s comeback track “GOOBA” has now blown Eminem‘s YouTube debut record out of the water.

The track broke the platform’s 24-hour record for most-watched Hip-Hop video, with what chart reports estimates to be about 43 million views totaled at the end of the first day. At the time of publishing this article, in just two days, the video has garnered over 68 million views.

The previous record was held by Eminem’s diss track towards Machine Gun Kelly, “Killshot,” released in 2018, which amassed over 38.1 million views within its first 24 hours. In addition to “GOOBA” hitting a milestone on YouTube, it is also ranking in at No. 1 on the US Apple Music charts.

In addition to kicking Eminem from his top spot on YouTube, 6ix9ine did the same to music hitmakers Teddy Riley and Babyface, whole held over 500,000 viewers during their #VERZUZ hit-for-hit battle on Instagram live.
