Victims Seketha Wonzer and Kevin Dozier filed the suit earlier today where it claims that the rapper was part of a criminal conspiracy leading up to the violent robbery in April 2018. The pair said Tekashi and co. stole shoes, master recordings, jewelry, cash, and other important belongings. However, the rapper claimed during his testimony that it was a case of mistaken identity and thought the victims were affiliated with Rap-A-Lot Records.
Wonzier also wrote in the court document that the robbery has left her in mental anguish and she is fearful of working again as a result.
“I am extremely frightened and can no longer successfully work in the music industry and I have since discontinued taking on new clients. I lost the client who was with her in New York; after the robbery he cancelled their contract immediately. My entire career and my assistant and lifelong dreams were destroyed as a result of this horrific event. I have been struggling to get back on my feet. Financially, I was ruined, which has caused a great deal of stress. I need counseling but unable to afford it. Presently, I am on various anxiety medications and sleep aids. Sadly, I am unable to eat at times, unable to sleep, having nightmares, and has also been suffering from depression.”

The pair’s attorney Joe Tacopina says Tekashi was not physically involved in the robbery but he recorded it outside from an SUV. Since he testified in court about the robbery, Tacopina claims that his clients want him to immediately pay in damages…no questions asked. Wonzier also wrote in the court document that the robbery has left her in mental anguish and she is fearful of working again as a result.
