According to TMZ, Tekashi said that the intruders waited for him to leave before breaking in. At the time, Tekashi was reportedly streaming with Jack Doherty.
The surveillance footage, which quickly went viral, shows the gunmen inside Tekashi’s home interacting with his mother. While some fans feared she was harmed, Tekashi confirmed that she was not assaulted, and his dog was safe as well.

Social Media Speculates Kodiyakredd’s Involvement
After clips of the break-in circulated online, social media users speculated that one of the intruders resembled Kodiyakredd, one half of the Island Boys duo. The theory gained traction after viewers pointed out that one gunman appeared to have similar facial tattoos, and the audio from the footage included someone saying, “Yo, Redd.” However, Kodiyakredd publicly denied any involvement, telling TMZ that the rumors are false.
The Island Boys’ rapper also suggested that his legal history makes it impossible for him to go unnoticed by authorities if he were involved in any criminal activity.
Tekashi 6ix9ine Requests Delay in Sentencing After Home Invasion
As the investigation into the break-in continues, TMZ also reported that Tekashi 6ix9ine is seeking to delay his sentencing for violating the terms of his supervised release. Documents stated that Tekashi is attempting to push his sentencing for violating the terms of his supervised release from Thursday to January and cited the home invasion as the reason.
