Looks like 6ix9ine sat down with NBC 6 South Florida and spoke on the viral altercation that led him to be hospitalized recently.

During the interview he explained how the footage is extremely hard for him to watch. “For me, it was tough to watch because it was so unexpected. It’s cowardly,” 6ix9ine shared. “When I look at it, I just see hate, right? Imagine being someone who doesn’t know someone from a hole in the wall. I’ll give you an example: today is the first day that I meet you, I don’t know you from anywhere, I could have heard something about you that I may have an opinion on, but I don’t know you to hate you.”

He goes on to add, “Does that give me the right to attack you? To ambush you? I think it was cowardly. I think it was opportunistic, but again I’m not mad because I know in the streets there are no rules. I’m at a loss for words because they saw an opportunity and they took it.”

6ix9ine also believes that the attack was very calculated and said when you look at the footage with the time stamps you can see they came there solely for him. Towards the end of the interview he explained what will be next for him now that this situation has happened to him. “I think life just keeps going,” he said. “I can capitalize off anything, I’m that talented. I don’t need to get beat to sell a record.”

Now as we all know the attack took place on March 21st when a group of guys ran up on 6ix9ine while he was in the sauna at a gym in Florida. According to TMZ the incident took place at an LA fitness when the rapper was attacked. Reports say the injuries were so bad he had to be rushed to a nearby hospital.

6ix9ine’s attorney, Lance Lazzaro spoke with TMZ and said the rapper was attacked without any warning and he attempted to fight back but it was too many men to fight off. Lance also noted that 6ix9ine didn’t have any security with him at the time of the attack. And the NYC rapper has spoke publicly saying that he will not be upping his security just because this happened to him.
